Nestled amidst the mighty, blue-green, snow-tipped Himalayan peaks in Uttarakhand,
Chota Char Dham (different from the Char Dham which comprises Badrinath, Dwaraka,
Puri and Rameswaram) comprises of the four sacred Hindu sites - Yamunotri, Gangotri,
Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Each of these sites has its own aura of religious
significance and together they form the epicentre of religious activity in North
India. In keeping with the tradition, the yatra as a cycle completes itself from the
west to the east.
Yamunotri Dham Yatra-The shrine of Yamunotri is one of the four sites of Char Dham pilgrimage located in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Yamunotri is the place from where River Yamuna originates and is regarded as the seat of Goddess Yamuna. The major attraction at Yamunotri is the temple dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna. The place is engulfed by mountains on all s ides. According to Hindu sculptures the temple was first built by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur in 19th century. Yatra in DevBhoomi offers endless opportunity to assemble experiences and memories for a lifetime. Since very ancient times, doing thisyatra has been treated as the highest respect across the country.
Gangotri Dham Yatra- Gangotri is the origin of most sacred river of India River Ganges. It is one of the four sites in the Char Dham pilgrimage circuit along with Badrinath, Kedarnath and Yamunotri. Gangotri is primarily known for its ancient temples and its religious importance. The present Ganga Temple at Gangotri was constructed by a Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the early 18th century. Near the temple is located a sacred stone where King Bhagiratha is said to have worshipped Lord Shiva. Surya Kund, PandavaGufa, Bhaironghati and Gaumukh are the other religious attractions in Gangotri. Gangotri town is the starting point of the Gaumukh, Tapovan, Nandanvan, Vasuki Tal and Gangotri-Kedartal trekking.
Badrinath Dham Yatra- Located in the Chamoli district in Uttarakhand state at an impressive height of 3,313 meters, Badrinath is a holy town and one of the major pilgrimage spot for Hindu religion. It is the place where divinity meets with the serenity of nature. Badrinath is one of the holiest of the holy shrines of Char DhamYatra in India. This holy city is an abode of countless sages who brave the extremity of weather for their religious devotion. Snuggled amidst the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges, Badrinath is a place of religious importance to Hindus as well as Buddhist. The main temple here dedicated to Lord Vishnu with GarbhaGriha as its main shrine.
Kedarnath Dham Yatra- Kedarnath is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage destinations Lord Shiva located in Rudraprayag district of Garhwal region in Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is among the top paramount locations for worshipers of Lord Shiva all over the world. Set amidst beautiful hill town in Uttarakhand, the place offers captivating views of snow-capped mountains and become one with the tranquility of fresh nature in all it soothing glory. The breathtaking location near the Mandakini River at the height of 3,584 meters, the popular KedarnathDham enjoys the greatness of Lord Shiva. Affiliated with the Mahabharata legend characters Pandava, Kedarnath is famous as Chota Char DhamYatra.
Day 01: Haridwar - Barkot (205 Kms, 6 Hours approx)
Day 02: Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot (42 Kms & 5 Kms Trek) Each side
Day 03: Barkot – Uttarkashi (95Kms, 4 Hours Approx)
Day 04: Uttarkashi- Gangotri- Uttarkashi (100 Kms) each side
Day 05: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi via Tehri Dam (223 Kms, 9 - 10 Hours Approx)
Day 06: Guptkashi – GouriKund- Kedarnath (35 Kms & 17 Kms trek)
Day 07: Kedarnath - Guptkashi (17 Kms Down Trek & 35 Kms 3 hrs by Road)
Day 08: Guptkashi - Badrinath (190 kms / 9 Hours Approx)
Day 09: Badrinath – Srinagar (190 kms/8hr)
Day 10 : Srinagar - Haridwar (100 Kms/4hrs)
On arrive at haridwar meet us and drive to Badkot via Musoorie; so that, you can experience the marvellous landscape and natural beauty of this place as well. On reaching at Barkot, check in your pre-booked hotel where stay overnight.
Early morning (4:00 AM) drive to Jankichatti (42 KMS), start 5 Kms trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri either by walk, doli or by horse at own cost. On arrival at Yamunotri, take bath in hot Jamunabai Kund then go for Temple darshan, after having Temple darshan you can also cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice back to home as "Prasad". After this back down to Jankichatti and then proceed to Barkot. Overnight at hotel.
Morning (9:00 AM) after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. In route visit Praketswar Mahadev. On arrival check-in the hotel, In evening we will visit the famous temple of Kashi –Viswnath at Uttarkashi and then back to hotel for overnight stay.
Early morning (5:00 AM) drive to Gangotri. At Gangotri take a holy dip in the river Ganga, It’s also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Then go for Temple darshan, after temple darshan drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Morning (7:00 AM) after breakfast check out from the hotel and then drive to Guptkashi via Tehri Dam. On arrival at Guptkashi check-in the hotel, in evening we will visit the famous temple of Kashi –Vishwnath at Guptkashi. After temple darshan back to hotel for overnight stay.
Early morning ( 5:00 AM) check-out from the hotel and drive to Gourikund. From here, we will start 17 Kms trek to Kedarnath. Either by walk, Doli or by horse at own cost. On arrival at Kedarnath, check-in the Hotel. In the evening visit Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple and take a part in evening Aarti. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Early morning (4:00 AM) go for temple darshan, after darshan back to Hotel. After breakfast trek down to Gaurikund. Later drive to Guptkashi. On arrival check-in the Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning ( 7:00 AM) after breakfast drive to Badrinath via Chopta. On arrival check-in the hotel. After a short break go for interesting sightseeing of Mana Village (the last village before the Tibetan border). Visit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Charanpaduka, Bhim pul and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati river. After that back to hotel, In the evening go for aarti. Overnight at hotel.
Early morning ( 4:00 AM ) take bath in Taptkund it’s also called Suryakund. Then go for temple darshan, after having temple darshan back to Hotel. After breakfast check-out from hotel and drive to Srinagar. On arrival at Srinagar check-in Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
In the morning, a delectable breakfast will be served to you in your hotel room after which, you have to get ready to check out from there as you have to drive back to Haridwar where your Chardham Yatra from Haridward tour ends.
Transportation from Haridwar to Chardham sector and back to Haridwar.
All pick up and dropping facilities at one point in Haridwar.
